New Brunswick is located south of Quebec's Gaspé Peninsula and east of the State of Maine. It shares entry points to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. New Brunswick enjoys over 5501 kilometres (over 3518 miles) of shore line, from Chaleur Bay, Gulf of St. Lawrence, Northumberland Strait, Atlantic Ocean and Bay of Fundy. About 80% of the province is forested. The mountains include the highest point in the Maritimes, Mount Carleton at 820 metres.(over 2690 feet).
